Perhaps as well as putting our party and address on our ballot paper, we should suggest the level of pay we would be willing to accept. According to a report about this debate that I read in the papers, the event that Hansard describes above as [Interruption] was actually the braying of most of the members of the house as they shouted the right hon Member for Worthing West's idea down.
